December 30th
Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee is our destination
for this fun filled trip. Following a 7:00 am departure we will make
our way to Nashville as we stop for lunch and breaks along the way.
Once in Tennessee dinner is on your own. This will allow you some
time to explore all that Gaylord’s has to offer including, a year
round climate controlled atrium, nine acres of lush indoor gardens
featuring a 44 foot cascading waterfall and much much more.
December 31st
Learn all about Nashville and the surrounding area as we take a
three-hour tour of the area with our own private guide. Upon arrival
back at the hotel get ready for the New Year’s Festivities. Await
the arrival of the New Year at the Masquerade Gala while you enjoy a
four-course dinner, wine, an orchestra and dancing. Ring in the New
Year with a champagne toast a midnight. This is sure to be an
evening that you will not soon forget.
January 1st
After a night of fun explore the area on your own or catch up on
your rest at the hotel as your prepare for an evening onboard the
General Jackson for a dinner cruise. The General Jackson is a 300ft
paddlewheel riverboat styled in the grand tradition of the
riverboats that cruised the great southern waterways in the 1800’s.
After dinner we will return to the hotel to prepare to tomorrow’s
departure.
January 2nd
Departure for home is at 7:00 am. Once again rest stops and lunch
will be all the way. Approximate arrival home will be 6:00 pm. New
Year’s in Nashville is a great way to start 2008!
